Associate Director, Digital Scholarship Lab

The Digital Scholarship Lab at the University of Richmond invites applicants for the position of Associate Director. This position will particularly be involved in the continued development of the DSL's award-winning mapping projects, including *American Panorama* and *Mapping Inequality: Redlining in New Deal America*. The Associate Director will play an integral role in developing these projects, particularly managing all aspects of the DSL's spatial resources and data. As such, we are looking for a candidate with experience georeferencing and georectifing raster maps, working with GeoJSON, developing and querying PostGIS databases, and developing spatial humanities projects more generally. The Associate Director also works with the Director to provide broader strategic leadership, manage staff, fundraise, and conduct public and scholarly outreach for the DSL.
