Digital Pedagogy & Scholarship Specialist, Public Scholarship
Description
Bucknell University’s Library and Information Technology division is seeking a Digital Pedagogy & Scholarship Specialist with an emphasis on public scholarship to support our vision of transformative and inclusive digital scholarship. The primary goal of this position is to provide support to campus stakeholders who are working on digital scholarship and pedagogy projects that engage members of the wider community beyond Bucknell University.
The public scholarship specialist will work with other library and information technology staff to build a robust infrastructure for the publication and dissemination of materials generated by our digital scholarship program. The candidate should be familiar with the lifecycle of digital scholarship from the development of a research question, data or material collecting, exploratory analysis, prototyping, documenting, publishing, and archiving. The ideal candidate will have experience as an individual researcher or as part of a research team engaged in digital scholarship.
Minimum qualifications:
Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience
Preferred qualifications:
Computer or analytic programming experience
Teaching experience
Academic research experience
