Description
Truman State University seeks a Digital Collections Librarian to build, maintain, and preserve digital collections which support the University’s mission and curriculum. The successful candidate will manage the current digital library (http://digitallibrary.truman.edu/), assist with the preservation of digital resources, and participate in public service activities. Primary responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and implementing appropriate software and hardware; identifying and implementing appropriate metadata standards; writing and maintaining policies and procedures; coordinating workflow for digitization processes; developing and managing a digitization lab; promoting collections to the University community; and identifying opportunities for growth in the digital collections to meet Truman’s informational needs.For more information on responsibilities and qualifications, and instructions for applying, please visit https://secure.truman.edu/positionlisting-s/positiondetails.asp?positionId=467
