Associate University Librarian – Applications & Development ServicesWorking in one of the most beautiful parts of the world
Reporting to the University Librarian, you will be responsible for the strategic development of the Library’s information technology operations – creating innovative and effective services and participating in a highly collaborative, dynamic executive group committed to creating and leading a world leading 21st century academic research library.

The role:
Building the ADS team with a focus on library technology services, you will have prime accountability for leading and managing the full life cycle of the Library’s applications and platforms. You will play a key role in developing our technology capabilities through the realisation of digital library projects and the application of emerging standards and technologies to meet the University’s needs.
As a member of the Library’s Executive Management Group you will contribute to the strategic direction of the Library.
Your skills and experience:
You must have a sophisticated understanding of the hybrid research library environment and a sound understanding of the issues and challenges in the delivery of online library services.
To apply for this key position you will need to have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• delivery of online services in the higher education sector
• project and programme management
• contract management and negotiation
• leadership, including the ability to lead change and an enabling leadership style
