The Office of Information and Library Services at the University of Greenwich is looking to appoint a Senior Academic Solutions Officer for the Academic Solutions team. Based at the spectacular Greenwich Campus you will work within the Information Systems Department, which has responsibility for the development, implementation, support and enhancement of a number of web based systems and services which are delivered through the University Portal.

You will be educated to at least degree level or have equivalent demonstrable experiential learning within a relevant technical, educational management or business discipline. Excellent IT skills and a good technical understanding of one or more of the following systems; virtual learning environments (Moodle), Portals, library management systems or e-portfolios will be essential. A practical understanding of the application of the systems development lifecycle will be important to your success in this role and in addition you will have an interest in how systems and technology can support and enhance the learning, research and teaching process within Further or Higher Education. Your qualities will include personal drive and determination, enthusiasm, flexibility, a willingness to learn, as well as excellent communication and document writing skills.
