Sourcerer Beta Tester
Description
We are seeking five (5) current or graduated PhD/MLIS/MS/MA students based in the Washington, DC metropolitan region who are passionate about archival research and digital research tools.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Beta test the Sourcery app (fulfill scan requests in local archives and provide constructive feedback)
- Attend virtual meetings, contribute to design and UX discussions, and provide feedback as needed
- Introduce Sourcery to your research/social circles
Qualified applications will demonstrate the following:
- Enrolled or graduated from a PhD/MLIS/MS/MA program
- Access to an iPhone or Android device running a recent version of the iOS or Android operating system
- Experience researching in closed archives
Compensation is a $450 honorarium for approximately 15 hours of work to begin October 20 and be completed by December 12, 2025. The honorarium will come from the University of Connecticut.
Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis until the positions are filled. Applications close September 28.
