Description

Dartmouth Library seeks a strong collaborator to work with students, faculty, staff, and community partners to develop digital collections and exhibits in alignment with the Dartmouth Library’s priorities and values. The Digital Collections Librarian will be responsible for researching, selecting, and preparing materials to be added to the Dartmouth Library’s digital collections and will contribute to the design, creation and reuse of descriptive metadata and text markup. This role supports the Dartmouth Library’s growing collaboration with faculty and scholars to support student engagement with digitized primary sources and community access to digital collections. The Digital Collections Librarian will also contribute to outreach to campus, local, and global communities, and coordinate the Dartmouth Library’s successful and expanding digital exhibits program by working directly with undergraduate students in the classroom.
