Library Applications Developer
Description
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries and Chazen Museum of Art seek an web application developer to work with a team to facilitate public access to digital and archival resources created by museums, archives, and other curators of cultural artifacts on campus. The developer will build and extend discovery and access tools for digital objects and for finding aids for archival collections.
This is a great opportunity for a developer with Ruby on Rails experience to work with a strong 8-member development team on our digital collections and discovery platforms. Our team is working remotely these days. This position is remote and does not require that you work on site in Madison.
This is a one year appointment supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
