The Huntington Library in San Marino, California enthusiastically invites applications for the position of Systems and Cataloging Librarian.
About the position:
The Systems and Cataloging Librarian manages the Library’s integrated library system (ILS) and fulfills the role of functional expert with a strong commitment to a user-centered, access-driven approach to cataloging and metadata services. This position collaborates to facilitate consistent discovery and access to library resources across all platforms and formats. Additionally, this position is expected to provide research and input on new library technology systems and applications to enhance the operation and services of the library in concert with institutional digital strategy. The Systems and Cataloging Librarian catalogs library materials and contributes to remediation activities to support inclusive cataloging. Reports to the Head of Acquisitions, Cataloging and Metadata Services (ACMe).
Minimum salary $70,000. Applications received by March 4, 2022 will be given first consideration. We are open to the possibility of one to two days of remote work per week for this position.
