Old Dominion University Libraries is seeking candidates for the Head of Systems Development. The Head of Systems Development is responsible for oversight and management of all information technology assets deployed at Old Dominion University Libraries. The scope of oversight performed by the position includes enterprise systems administration, resource discovery and electronic resource management, website and intranet administration, desktop support, digital storage management, and technology training. The Head of Systems Development works successfully with University Information Technology Services, Procurement Services, and vendors to accomplish complex, collaborative projects that benefit the University community. Position collaboratively manages the priorities, organizational structure, budget, and future directions of the University Libraries. In a fast-paced, complex environment, this position identifies, develops and manages adoption of technology infrastructure necessary to meet current and future needs of faculty, students, and Libraries' personnel.
