The Systems and Emerging Technologies Librarian will provide leadership and expertise in managing the Stanley Library’s electronic materials collections and its Web presence.  This position is also responsible for identification, assessment and implementation of emerging technologies that further the Library’s mission.  Ideal candidates will enjoy working with technology, but also have a passion for teaching users how to utilize the Library’s expansive collection of materials.  The Emerging Technologies Librarian will also serve as a liaison to one or more academic departments and will assist with reference services, the instruction program and other outreach efforts.  This position is a 12 month, tenure-track faculty position and is available immediately.

Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution, at least two years of experience working in an academic library setting and at least two years of library systems experience and/or equivalent technology experience.
