User Experience Librarian
The Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of User Experience Librarian. The User Experience department (4 librarians, 2 developers, 3 support staff) is responsible for the strategic management of the Libraries' web presence including design and development of web content and applications. The Libraries’ award-winning website provides contextual, just-in-time information to facilitate user experience with spaces, services, collections, programs, and events. The department engages in user research, adopts developments and insights from the broader realm of user-experience research, and strives for user-centered design to create a consistent experience across the Libraries’ many touchpoints in both physical and online spaces. This position reports to the Department Head, User Experience.
