Web UX Specialist

Description

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus’ Health Sciences Library (HSL) seeks an innovative, service-oriented Web UX (User Experience) Specialist. The Web UX Specialist manages the HSL web presence, coordinates initiatives and development to insure that the library’s web services are highly functional and responsive, user-friendly, and appealing.

The Anschutz Medical Campus is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains and is part of the Denver-metro area, which is consistently ranked as one of the best urban areas to live.  The HSL provides a highly collaborative, welcoming and technologically progressive space for the faculty, staff and students of the Anschutz Medical Campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree computer science, information technology, graphic design or a closely related field.
• Two years of experience in designing, building and maintaining production web sites.

Substitutions:

• A bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, graphic design or a closely related field may substitute for the required bachelor’s degree.
• Full time work experience in the field of IT, which provided the same kind, amount and level of knowledge acquired in the required education, may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the bachelor's degree, and is in addition to the 2 years of required experience.

Conditions of Employment:
Ability to provide a web design portfolio of completed web projects.
Salary: $48,750 - $62,000 based on qualifications and experience. The University of Colorado offers a full benefits package.
