Salary: $54,000 minimum

Description:
Responsible for server-side programming and developing web applications and associated documentation to support research in the humanities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in humanities computing, computer science, or a related field required.
Year for year experience in high level languages or modern web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django or Node.js may be substituted for education.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional programming experience is preferred.
A deep familiarity of Linux is desirable.
Demonstrated interest or background in humanities helpful.
Knowledge of XML, XSLT, relational databases, geographic information systems, and software versioning preferred.
Experience with server administration and CMS beneficial.
