Exciting Training Opportunity Open at ByWater Solutions!

ByWater Solutions was created with the express goal of changing the way libraries interact with their software systems and the vendors who support them. We believe that libraries deserve to have access to a personalized, comprehensive support system at a reasonable cost. We are currently seeking an individual to grow our Education Department and to implement new models of training libraries on Koha in an innovative and exciting way. We pride ourselves in being the best in the industry and need you to join our team!

As an Educator at ByWater, you will get to travel to various libraries across the US, meet new people from around the world and be a leader in change management for new partners moving to Koha from their current ILS system. You will be not only an advocate for libraries but also help them be a community advocate by utilizing new models of training (Moodle, hands on, scenario based training). We are looking to you, to design and implement new models of training and to grow our Education Department. We are looking for someone who is innovative, who can represent the open-source community and ByWater Solutions at any speaking engagements and also develop and deliver presentations to show the benefits of open source. You will work with members of the ByWater team on additional marketing materials such as videos, webinars, tutorials, and blog posts. In addition to training new partners, you will also support our current partners via our support portal providing awesome customer support assistance.

We do require that you have:

• Library/Library Software experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Commitment to open source
• Comfortable working from home
• Able to travel 60+% of time
