Description

The University is seeking to appoint a Programme Manager with responsibility for co-ordinating a team of Project Managers in their delivery of projects with an IT focus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programme managing a varied portfolio of different sized projects as well as championing the cause of project management and overseeing the provision of a ‘centre of excellence service’ to projects running across the rest of the business.

Monitoring and reporting on the full range of projects being either managed or monitored by the office and advising on required action will be a key element of the role.

Applicants should possess demonstrable experience of managing a range of different projects simultaneously, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excellent personnel management skills and possess relevant professional certification.
