Social Sciences Data Librarian

Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Social Sciences Data Librarian in its University Libraries.

Reporting to the Head of the Library Liaison Program, responsibilities include: providing instruction on the use of published statistics, statistical software and other tools that support data-intensive research; taking a leading role in the acquisition and access to social sciences collections and data sets; and collaborating across departments in the Libraries on issues related to the access to and use of data. As part of the liaison program, this position will teach curriculum-integrated instructional sessions at all degree levels, collaborate with teaching faculty to develop course content; assess student learning; and create online tools and user guides.
