Instructional Technologist
Description
The Instructional Technologist is a member of a team-oriented staff and shares in the responsibility of providing the St. Olaf community with instructional technology services. The Instructional Technologist assists students and faculty in developing digital humanities projects related to text analysis, digital publications, GIS, multimedia collections, and online exhibitions. In collaboration with IT and Library staff, the Instructional Technologist provides digital humanities training to faculty, staff, and students via workshops, learning communities, and summer institutes. Other important duties include evaluating and selecting digital technologies, supervising DH student interns and serving as the IT Staff Liaison to a selection of academic departments.
This is a four-year position funded by the Mellon “Digital Humanities on the Hill” grant. The Instructional Technologist reports to the Assistant Director of Instructional Technology.
