The University Library is a dynamic and innovative environment, with a focus on the delivery of quality online services to the University of New England’s extensive off-campus and on-campus communities. . The University is recognized for the excellence of its research specializations and the Library provides services and access to scholarly information resources to support these research programs.
The Digital Infrastructure and Information Technologies Manager provides leadership in the assessment, development and delivery of the information technologies required to support Library service goals and University strategic directions in learning, teaching and research. Such technologies include the library management system or services platform, digital repositories, web technologies, and discovery interfaces and systems that provide access to scholarly information resources in a University IT environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead this key area and join our vibrant and forward facing Library team. You will have extensive relevant management expertise and experience, with special regard to project and program management and a strong commitment to the provision of sustainable quality information resources and services in a university context. You will have a demonstrated ability to lead and manage change, including the implementations of new information technologies. Previous experience working in an academic or research library would be advantageous.
Applicants must have postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, in library or information science, information technology or a related area.
