General SummaryThe primary focus of this position is management and coordination of the UNG’s institutional repository and special collections related to university history and student and faculty research, in digitized, born-digital and physical formats. Further duties include library instruction and contributing to public service on the Information Desk.
Education Requirement
M.L.S. degree from an accredited ALA program
Experience Requirement
Two years experience in academic library special and/or digital collections.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Qualifications include a commitment to preservation and presentation of archival and digital research materials; knowledge of digitization concepts, presentation and processes; knowledge of archival concepts, methodology and techniques; excellent oral and written communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, faculty and students.
