Description
The Attorney General's Office is currently seeking an Electronic Records Analyst in the Records Management Section. The duties for this position include but are not limited to:iManage/IRM System Administration: creates new matters in iManage and conducts conflict research; runs and manages retention/disposition reports and authorizations; assists sections with indexing, barcoding, labeling and managing of hardcopy records in relation to the system.
Review and Creation of Records Retention Schedules: conducts records analysis meetings with sections in order to gather enough information to draft a retention schedule; conducts legal/compliance research on laws, regulations and standards affecting the retention of records; monitors state RIMS system for status of retention schedules and provides proper notice and filing when they have been approved for use.
Review and Approve Records Disposal Request Forms: reviews and approves records disposal request forms submitted by sections to verify that the records are eligible for disposal and have been documented properly.
Other duties as assigned: develops and conducts staff training; other duties as requested by Senior Records Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in library & information science or public history, CRM, or 3 years of professional records management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with document/records management systems.
