Description

Cornell University Library is seeking applications for an Open Scholarship Librarian.

As part of the Research Data and Open Scholarship (RDOS) group, the Open Scholarship Librarian plays a vital role in supporting open scholarship and championing innovative ideas that enhance the accessibility and impact of research and educational materials. This position combines responsibilities in scholarly communications and open scholarship, ensuring broad support for faculty, students, and staff at Cornell across the full scholarly communication lifecycle. They will work closely with Library and University partners to expand research visibility, foster responsible stewardship of research outputs, and promote open and equitable access to scholarly knowledge.

Reporting to the Director, Research Data and Open Scholarship, the selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate with colleagues, and adjust to changing business needs.
