Request for Proposals: Design & Development of Content Management System

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is thrilled to be opening a new flagship library in uptown Charlotte, which has been decades in the making, and has an incredible amount of investment—both financial and emotional—from our community. Designed to be technologically forward and engaging for older teens and adults, the RFP addresses two highly specialized areas that are in need of custom content management and operational software: the Immersive Theater and the Digital Visualization Lab.

There is a Q&A form that we are using for all project-related questions, as well as a link to register for an informational session on March 4, 2026 at 2pm.
