Research and Education Informationist

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Libraries invite applications for a Research and Education Informationist. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment dedicated to advancing research, education, and clinical practice at MUSC.

The Research and Education Informationist will provide research and knowledge management services to students and teaching, clinical, and research faculty from the College of Nursing and select programs in the College of Health Professions. This position reports to the Associate Director of Libraries and will work in a flexible, team-oriented, highly collaborative environment. This position encompasses a broad scope of work and activities, including expert search services, teaching and education, research consultations, and community engagement with MUSC students, faculty, and staff in the health sciences.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $ 90,000, commensurate with education and experience.

Faculty Rank & Work Environment: The faculty rank is open. MUSC faculty members work hybrid schedules as appropriate for their roles.

Location Requirement: Successful candidates must relocate to Charleston, SC. Relocation assistance is provided.
