Description
The U.S. Senate Historical Office is seeking a Deputy Archivist for Digital Archives to support the preservation, management, and accessibility of electronic records documenting Senate history. This role is essential in ensuring the long-term integrity and usability of digital records through archival best practices, digital preservation strategies, and metadata management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the acquisition and preservation of born-digital records
- Developing and implementing workflows for digital preservation and access
- Providing guidance on digital record stewardship and metadata standards
- Collaborating with Senate offices, committees, and archival institutions
