Sustaining Digital Scholarship Programmer - UVA Library
The University Library is seeking to fill a programmer position to coordinate and implement the migration of new and legacy digital collections into Library Managed Content; and to perform technical assessments for new digital content under consideration for Library Managed Content.
Requirements: experience in developing and documenting complex Perl and shell scripts (among other languages); experience with SGML, XML, XSLT, HTML, TEI, EAD; experience in systems use and general shell programming; supervisory experience; and an understanding of digital library technologies.
