Are you interested in applying digital content management skills while building and fostering relationships to advance the stewardship and management of growing digital collections at the Library of Congress? If so, the Digital Collections Management and Services Division (DCMS) is seeking a dynamic Digital Collections Technician to join its dedicated, engaged, and innovative staff. DCMS manages a variety of initiatives and efforts related to the stewardship of digital general collections content including content collected through the Library’s web archiving program, eBooks, e-Journals, digitized general collections materials, bulk datasets, and more! DCMS staff provide expert guidance, leadership, and coordination for the acquisition, management and preservation of digital collections content including the lifecycle management for the Library’s digital collections, digitization support, web archiving, and policy formulation and administration.
