Digital Library Technologist I or II
Description
Summary: Supports the work of Digital Initiatives in Wright Library by carrying out activities of the department pertaining to digitized library materials, including data processing, quality assurance, metadata editing, testing, and digital preservation. Reports to the Director of Digital Initiatives. Contributes to Wright Library’s ongoing goal of increasing access to the library’s collections in support of teaching, learning, and research at Princeton Seminary and for the benefit of researchers locally, nationally, and globally.
Permanent, year-round, on-site position, with potential for hybrid work after initial training period. Based on knowledge, skills and aptitude of incumbent, this role may evolve to include migrating workflows to utilize new tools or technologies, maintaining or enhancing web applications, or other advanced tasks and projects.
