Data Science Instructor
Description
The UCSF Library’s Data Science and Open Scholarship team is recruiting a Data Science (DS) Instructor to join us in providing empowering, foundational data science training to UCSF learners, faculty, and staff. As a DS Instructor you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging workshops on key topics such as R programming, statistics, and generative AI, tailored to our diverse health science research audience. As a pivotal part of our team, you will provide personalized consultations, helping our community troubleshoot data challenges and connect with valuable resources. You will also play a significant role in fostering a culture of data science through participation in campus outreach events and UCSF and UC-wide committees. This role also provides the opportunity to continue developing your own skills, exploring new technologies and platforms, and pioneering innovative approaches and tools.
This position is for you if you have an intermediate knowledge of data science who is enthusiastic about teaching a wide range of learners in a health science context.
