We are seeking a Systems Librarian GS-1410-09/11 to join our dynamic team at the United States Naval Academy’s Nimitz Library located in Annapolis, MD. This job is predominantly onsite with limited telework opportunities. Must be able to report as needed on weekends and after hours.
Eligibility:
This position is open to *Recent Graduates* (from an MLS program, doctoral program, certificate program etc.). Applicants must have graduated from an accredited educational institute or certificate program within the last 2 years, or 4 years for Veterans.
Qualifications:
Candidates will be assessed on their experience with and/or knowledge of technology used in a higher education environment, to include: technology in an academic library environment, general information technology, and technology planning/life cycles.
If qualifying on education alone: To be considered at the GS-9, candidates must possess 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's in library science or equivalent graduate degree related to the position. To be considered at the GS-11, candidates must possess 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education in library science or doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) related to the position.
