Open Publishing Librarian

Description

The University of Idaho Library seeks an innovative, flexible, and highly collaborative Open Publishing Librarian who will help support and promote the open publishing services and infrastructure at U of I that are helping transform scholarly communication and teaching. Reporting to the Dean, this position will work within the Digital Scholarship and Open Strategies (DSOS) unit and closely collaborate across the library. This position will work with students, faculty members, and their fellow librarians to direct and manage fellowships, build open publishing capacity and expertise, and assist with digital scholarship and scholarly communication across library projects and units.

This is a 12-month, tenure track faculty position.
