Product Owner, Universal Viewer Product Team
Description
We are looking for a Product Owner to lead a new team that will focus on Universal Viewer at the British Library. Universal Viewer is a community-developed open source project on a mission to help us share our content with the world.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our digital scholarship and public outreach activities. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will lead the gathering of requirements, define the product strategy and own the end-to-end product roadmap, following accessibility standards. The post holder will have a good understanding of working with software developers and business areas. Taking an agile and user-centred approach you will be part of a team bringing a culture of delivery and service design, helping to bridge the gap between community and Library efforts making knowledge accessible to everyone.
