Join our dynamic library team as the Cataloging and Metadata Services Librarian, where you'll lead the cataloging unit and supervise the Metadata Technologies Librarian. Your role involves managing the cataloging of diverse physical and digital resources, focusing on special collections and a variety of formats. You'll develop and update metadata policies, keeping pace with national standards. Embrace a leadership role that nurtures innovation, collaboration, and professional growth, ensuring our cataloging and metadata services evolve with our library users' needs. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of relevant experience, an MLS/MLIS degree (or equivalent), and a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. Preferred qualifications include experience in managing a team, cataloging with OCLC Connexion, and familiarity with integrated library systems like FOLIO. If you have a knack for RDA, LCSH, LC Classification, MARC21, and are eager to lead a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you!
