Library Systems Administrator
Description
The Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and configuration of library-owned servers, campus-supported VMs, and other infrastructure that support the Libraries’ mission. Reporting to the Director of Technology Solutions, the Systems Administrator will monitor system performance, respond to issues and alerts, ensure system security, manage the deployment process, configure environments, perform backups and disaster recovery procedures, and continuously improve the Libraries’ hosting infrastructure. The position works as part of the application development team and closely coordinates workflows, automation, and project timelines with team members. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will be the liaison with the Office of Information and Technology for the team’s security reporting and infrastructure needs.
