Full-Stack Web Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer with a passion for development and a background in the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, and Livewire). This is a part-time contract position, offering 10-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an academic library environment and possess a solid understanding of developing and maintaining web applications.
 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel, Livewire, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features and functionalities.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of web applications.
• Address and resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with librarians and other stakeholders to understand and address their needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, and Livewire).
• Experience working in a library setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
