Join Our Team: Systems Administrator, Colorado State University 

CSU Libraries seeks a Systems Administrator as a valuable team member of the Library Technology Services unit. As part of a team of librarians and technologists, this position will create, manage and support technical infrastructure needed to create innovative systems and technology solutions to meet operational needs and priorities of CSU Libraries. This intermediate level systems administrator is responsible for administering servers and storage systems that support library operations including websites, integrations, the integrated library system, institutional repository, discovery systems and digital collections. 
 
  

Required Job Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computing, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in any field plus minimum of 2 years relevant experience in server administration 

• Demonstrated experience in Linux server administration 

• Working knowledge of server, web and network security principles, tools and methods  

• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with a dynamic team and stakeholders to build, support and troubleshoot complex systems  

• The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the time of hire. CSU Libraries is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
