Information Science Specialist - Early Career

The Data Lifecycle Technologies Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated information scientist to support our data management initiatives and AI data research.

In this exciting role, you will work with our users and scientists to build and deploy findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) repositories.  You will help develop, document, and implement metadata standards and data dictionaries, including taxonomies and data formats.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest, most challenging datasets, and collaborate with computer scientists and domain scientists to build next generation data services to facilitate open science in an exascale environment.
