Software Applications Developer

Description

The University of Cincinnati Libraries (UCL) seeks a self-motivated, team-oriented individual to develop and support software applications.  This position is part of UCL’s Application Development Unit, and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software, applications, and innovative technologies to advance UCL’s operations and services.  UCL primarily uses open-source applications, languages, and development frameworks.

Required education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.  Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of the education requirement.
