The Library Systems Administrator III oversees software for the Libraries’ digital repository platforms, gathering stakeholders’ requirements and translating needs into application configuration/features. They will ensure the optimal performance of lslandora, Open Journal Systems (OJS) and WordPress software and evaluate applications to update and add new features. Working across library departments, they will update and debug applications that improve work efficiencies or the user experience. They will develop appropriate documentation to represent application design and code customizations accurately. They will also have secondary responsibilities for the development and maintenance of the library's Drupal content management software. The position reports to the Director of Library Information Technology and Digital Scholarship & Initiatives.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of experience as a system administrator
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of experience as a system administrator
