Director of Resources Management and PA Library

Description

The Director of Resources Management and PA Library at PCOM has the primary responsibility to support the development, purchase, maintenance, preservation and delivery of library resources in all formats. The position initiates and maintains vendor and consortia relationships to achieve financial efficiencies. Efficiencies are achieved through effective contract negotiation, legal review and appropriate approvals for fiduciary control. Through supervision and departmental committee work, the director leads library collection development efforts in accordance with Collection Development policy and acquisitions budget planning. The Director also oversees the PCOM Archives, Special Collections, DigitalCommons (PCOM’s institutional repository) and campus photography studio as well as has operations oversight responsibility for the PA campus.
