Access and Discovery Coordinator
Description
This employee serves as the expert in electronic resource management, bibliographic record loading and maintenance, and in the use of the library management system (Ex Libris’ Alma) within the Technical Services department. They are responsible for developing and administering projects and setting policies that improve or facilitate access to and discovery of library materials. This includes: loading and maintaining bibliographic records in the library management system; managing access to electronic resources by creating and updating portfolios and collections, troubleshooting problems, and reporting errors to vendors; and providing training and support to Technical Services staff in the use of Alma for cataloging and the provision of access to physical materials and electronic resources. This position reports to the Head of Technical Services and supervises the Maintenance Coordinator. Salary $55,000 - $60,000.
