Data Impact Librarian
Join the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), the world's largest digital archive of social and behavioral health science research data. ICPSR is now accepting applications for a full-time, permanent position as part of its Metadata & Preservation unit, at the rank of Senior Associate Librarian.
As the Data Impact Librarian, you will showcase the impact of secondary data use on science. You will do this by helping to grow, manage, and make use of the ICPSR Bibliography of Data-related Literature, a unique collection of over 100,000 curated publication citations that link ICPSR study data to the citing literature. In addition to bibliographic searching skills and experience writing content based on scholarly findings, the Data Impact Librarian will bring project management and supervisory experience to the position. Some technical skills and a second master’s degree in the social sciences are highly desired.
