Technology and Digital Initiatives Fellow
Description
The Lillian Goldman Law Library has established the 2-year term Law Library Technology and Digital Initiatives Fellowship to train newer Law Librarians in the exploration, acquisition, testing, and evaluation of relevant library technology resources and solutions. The Law Library Technology and Digital Initiatives Fellow will also be trained in maintaining law library websites. The successful candidate will be interested in exploring how new technologies can be deployed in a law library framework.
Responsibilities: Under the oversight of the Associate Director for Administration and Law Library Technology, the Technology and Digital Initiatives Fellow will spend time learning about technology management in Law Libraries. Projects and activities will include management of web user interfaces; meeting accessibility policies; planning and managing web; managing web-based digital signage system.
Will learn to develop and assess technical strategies, tools, and applications in response to evolving needs; investigate new products and technologies; provide support and guidance to faculty and students.
The Technology and Digital Initiatives Fellow will also provide research, reference, and faculty liaison support, and contribute to the profession through participation in regional and national associations.
