Technology & Digital Strategies Librarian
Description
The Kelvin Smith Library (KSL) of Case Western
Reserve University (CWRU) seeks an enthusiastic, innovative, and
collaborative individual to serve as the Technology & Digital Strategies
Librarian (TDSL). Reporting to the Associate Director for Creation &
Curation services, the TDSL coordinates all library technology and digital
strategies to include the catalog & discovery systems, storage, desktop
support, and related infrastructure. The TDSL sits on the Library
Leadership Team and collaborates with related teams to plan and implement
technology infrastructure and policies to advance library operations and
services. The TDSL serves as the main liaison with the University’s central
IT department (UTech) to provide a single point of contact and oversees the
work of two UTech personnel. The TDSL works with all CWRU libraries and
affiliated libraries to ensure catalog & discovery system services as needed

*qualifications* Master's degree in a relevant discipline with 1 to 2 years
of library experience.

Excellence in Academic Libraries Award. KSL is a member of the Association
of Research Libraries (ARL), OhioLINK, and CNI. Supported by an endowment,
the services of the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship advances
research by partnering with scholars and providing expertise on suite of
digital scholarship services. Founded in 1826, the University is an
internationally recognized private research university serving 5,383
undergraduates and 6,491 graduate students with a full-time faculty of
3,695. Situated in Cleveland’s vibrant University Circle cultural
community, CWRU is an integral partner with world-class cultural
organizations such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Western Reserve
Historical Society, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, and the Cleveland
Museum of Natural History. KSL affiliate libraries include the Cleveland
