Systemwide Data Analyst
Description
The Systemwide Data Analyst plays an important role in advancing and supporting data-driven assessment, planning and decision-making at the University of California (UC) Libraries, which comprises the ten UC campuses, two Regional Library Facilities and the California Digital Library (CDL). As a member of the Systemwide Library Planning team at CDL, the Systemwide Data Analyst will co-design and provide a data analytics and visualization service for the UC Libraries utilizing data stored and originating in the Systemwide Integrated Library System (SILS) as well as a wide variety of additional public and proprietary data sources. This service will support the work of systemwide leadership and planning (e.g. the UC Council of University Librarians) across a broad range of topics and areas of shared interest; it will also support campus-specific understanding of systemwide data. The analyst will perform and communicate complex data analyses to support library planning, proposal development and transformation broadly, and will partner and collaborate with the SILS governance structure and operations center, and with assessment, data and analytics coordinators at CDL and across the system.
