Data Science Librarian
Description
The Baylor University Libraries seeks a collaborative, engagement-focused Data Science Librarian (DSL) to serve as a core member of the Data and Digital Scholarship (DDS) department of the Research & Engagement division. The DSL will assist in the division’s educational programs and support data-driven research and scholarship across the university. Working closely with DDS faculty and staff, the DSL supports the Libraries’ commitment to support data-related and digital scholarship research at every stage of the research lifecycle, with a focus on research data management, data visualization, and data analytics. Additionally, the DSL will serve as a liaison to one or more departments involved with data science initiatives. This is an academic professional position with faculty status and position rank of either Assistant Librarian or Associate Librarian.
