Sam Houston State University (SHSU) Newton Gresham Library (NGL) seeks a
collaborative and customer service minded individual to, within the
guidelines of the university’s website architecture and design, participate
in and coordinate the planning, design, maintenance, and evaluation of the
Library’s web presence to improve user experience and ensure reliable
operation of the Library’s web content.

SHSU’s mission is to provide high quality education, scholarship, and
service to students. Located in East Texas, approximately an hour’s drive
north of Houston, Huntsville provides residents with a sense of community
and belonging with metropolitan amenities only a short distance away.

Requirements:

-

A degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited master’s
program is required (must be awarded by May 31, 2022).

Preferred:

-

Experience maintaining website through a CMS.
-

Experience administrating Spring Share software
-

Experience collaborating with IT departments in an academic setting
-

Experience with online user experience assessment and research
