Software Engineer

Description

This position will support the NCAR Library by leading the design, implementation and support of software for early implementation and production-level digital library systems, including the NCAR Library's OpenSky institutional repository and the NCAR Archives digital archiving systems. The candidate will interact with project stakeholders, end users and technologists to identify, describe and refine software requirements, and will work across the software development lifecycle including: integrating technology within complex data and information systems; working within multi-organizational collaborations; and interacting with users, scientists and information providers to build user centered products.
