We have a wonderful opportunity for full-time work at Tufts University in Medford, MA for someone who is interested in increasing their knowledge of cataloging digital collections and digitizing print material.

About the position: Reporting to the Head of Digital Initiatives, the Senior Library Assistant for Digital Initiatives will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of digital content and metadata added to the institutional repository. They will also be responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of digital materials received in the library. The position is part of a collaborative team that implements policies and procedures to provide digital initiatives services at the University.

* Hiring range: $22.90 – $32.10 per hour, 35 hours per week.
* Due to the pandemic, we are currently operating with flexible work arrangements.

Within RMRS, the Digital Initiatives department is working to create conditions for radical access to the digital objects, research data, and metadata stewarded by Tisch Library.
