Metadata Librarian (Vacancy#: VAR001062), GS-13/14
The Integrated Library System Program Office at the Library of Congress is seeking 3 metadata librarians. The ILS Office manages enterprise-wide systems in support of the Library’s operations and mission to provide access to the collections. ILSPO staff manage projects; develop and implement technology solutions; and ensure their integration with the Library’s IT environment. Metadata librarians in the ILS Program Office manage the Library’s descriptive metadata and are currently planning for next generation systems such as the Audio Visual Collection Management System and other modernization efforts.
The position description number for this position is 360891 (GS-13) and 360892 (GS-14).The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metro area. The incumbent of this position will work a compflex, flextime work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position.
